Problems and Bugs [UED 3]

This tutorial shows you how to render skyboxes properly for level design, it assumes you already have some knowledge of TerraGen and have set up a scene to render.

Camera Settings
  1. First set the zoom/magnification settings to 1 under Camera Settings (so the textures will match up in-game)
  2. (Optional) Increase / decrease the exposure under Camera Settings until you're happy with the brightness of the scene.
Render Settings
  1. Set the Image Size to a square image (960x960 is the best in the free version, then you can resize it to 1024x1024)
  2. Slide the Detail bar up to the highest setting.
  3. For more complex skies - Under Render Settings slide the Atmousphere and Cloud Shading bars up to about 75% and 60%. You might want to increase this even more if the sky is very detailed, but it will take much longer to render.

Head Pitch Bank
North 0 0 0
West -90 0 0
East 90 0 0
South 180 0 0
Up 180 90 0
Down 180 -90 0
